Coal Tolling

DTE Coal Services can structure tolling deals for short and long terms of services.

DTE Coal Services will buy and arrange transportation of fuel to a power plant that has excess generating capacity. The plant then burns the coal and produces electricity for a fee and returns it on the grid to our affiliate, DTE Energy Trading.

DTE Energy Trading markets the excess power to fulfill contracts or meet market needs. It's a great way for a generator to increase plant capacity and improve profitability without taking increased market risk.
